Meet the Leadership Team

Sandra Roach, Pastor
In 1987 God called Sandra to full-time ministry as Youth and Christian Outreach Center Director for Washington Pike United Methodist Church, while attending the University of Tennessee, majoring in Religious Studies. WPUMC is a large inner-city church, located in the heart of Knoxville, Tennessee. As Youth Director, she ministered to inner-city kids through weekly bible study, youth meetings, planning and implementing retreats and mission trips. As the Christian Outreach Center Director, she planned and implemented programs to reach the community utilizing the Christian Outreach Center. In 1997 Sandra began to minister to hurting women, and through this outreach God called her to establish Women in the Word Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit ministry. They had weekly bible studies, one-on-one discipleship, retreats, conferences and prayer meetings. As the ministry grew, they found themselves ministering to families; therefore they changed the name in 2001 to Life Changers, Inc. In July of 2004, God spoke to Sandra about starting a church and confirmed the call through her husband, Steve. They had the first church service of Life Changers Fellowship on September 26, 2004. Our covering is Faith Christian Fellowship International Church, Inc., where Sandra was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in February of 2003. The entire family is active in the ministry. In addition to husband, Steve, who serves as the church administrator, daughter Shelley, son Tim and his wife Holly, and son Zack and his wife Amanda all have prominent roles at Life Changers Fellowship.
Steve Roach, Administrator
A 1974 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Steve received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration as an accounting major. His experience in church finance dates back to 1985. Steve has served on numerous boards and finance committees of non-profit organizations. He retired after 25 years of service from Knoxville Utilities Board in 2008, where he served as Cash Manager. Steve earned the professional designation of Certified Public Finance Administrator. Serving LCF as church administrator is an answer to prayer and complements his wife's pastoral calling.
